Care Information

This is a fragile piece of textile art and is not a toy.  It should be hung out of reach of children and animals.  Please limit touching of the piece as it will dislodge fibres and lead to their texture changing.

Dusting:
Dowel Hung - Give your weave a gentle shake to dislodge dust. Use a hairdryer on a low setting to gently blow away the dust. DO NOT USE WATER.
Frame Mounted: Turn your weave around and give it a couple of firm pats on the back to dislodge dust.  Use a hairdryer on a low setting to gently blow away the dust.  DO NOT USE WATER.

Fringe Care:
When it arrives, give your weave a wiggle. Gently use clean fingers to comb your fringe. If there are any creases as a result of packing, gently use steam to iron them out.  DO NOT LET THE HOT SURFACE TOUCH THE WEAVE.

Location:
This weave is made up of natural fibres which will absorb damp and smells. If you hang your weave in a space with strong odours, grease or damp, there is a high probability that over time the fibres will absorb some of these. A bedroom, living room, dining room, hallway or office is perfect.

Moths:
Natural wool fibres form a large percentage of the fibres used in my weaves.  As a result there is always a risk that moths will find the weave as yummy to eat as you find it to look at.  If you are worried about moths where this weave will be hung, we’d strongly recommend that you use localised moth repellent sachets hung to the back of your weave to keep it safe for years to come.
