Weaving Kits for Children

When the idea first came to me to put together a weaving kit, I was going to target adults looking to try a new craft. But my boys have shown such a huge fascination in my weaving and how it works, So I decided to put together a kit for them. Children have such a remarkable capacity for learning new skills without being put off by their lack of knowledge or experience, and this is want I wanted to tap into and encourage. 

So this kit is for those curious little minds who want to explore a colourful and tactile art.

The kit contains: wooden loom, blunt tapestry needle, enough colourful yarn to create multiple pieces and access to tutorial videos.

The aim of this kit is to let your child's creativity spark, so patterns are not included, allowing your child to weave as they wish and explore the results!  There are full tutorial videos which instructs on basic weaving techniques which will allow your budding artists ideas come to life.

Age 5+

Warning! Not suitable for children under 36 months - small parts & long cord. Choking hazard. Adult supervision required. When the weave is finished according to the instructions, it should be checked by an adult to ensure the weave is made correctly. The finished weave is not a toy and is a decorative item, it should be displayed out of reach of children.
