So what it is?

  • Only the greatest thing since sliced bread (no false modesty here!).  An Art Scarf by Aurore Knight is a handwoven scarf, made from the softest merino wools and chunky wool locks to give it unique texture. Sized somewhere between a scarf and a shawl to keep you warm all through the cosy season, you'll feel stylishly glamorous every time you leave the house!
  • Available in three different widths - Narrow Scarf (20cm/8"), Scarf/Shawl (45cm/18"), Shawl (65cm/26") - all dimensions are approximate.

Woven in Aurore's trademark colour block style, the colours are fully customisable to suit your look, be it dramatically dark, softly neutral or popping with colour. 


Once your order is placed, Aurore will be in touch with you to go through your desired colour palette.  Pinterest is your friend here, if you've seen colour combinations you love, now's the time to save and share them.  Once colours and fibres have been agreed, the weaving magic will start.


Please note that the turnaround time for a custom scarf is 4-6 weeks from order.  This will depend on the time taken to agree the colour palette and the delivery of fibres for your scarf.

  • All the fibres used in this piece have been sourced from small, British businesses.  It is an integral part of Aurore's ethos as an artist to source from local businesses, and strive to make as little impact on the environment as possible through her practice.

Custom scarf for my mum

I wanted to get my mum something a little different this year and found Aurore Knight over on Instagram. My mum loves a classic wardrobe in neutral colours, so I asked for a scarf that would work with that. Aurore absolutely delivered, weaving a beautiful cream/camel coloured scarf. Needless to say mum was also thrilled with it!

Amazing Custom Handwoven Art Scarf

Aurore was absolutely wonderful working with my mum on her custom scarf as a Christmas present, Aurore sent my mum customised colour options, and worked with her to narrow down and change until they reached the final perfect combination. I am now in receipt of the gorgeous final piece, and am excited for my mum to see it in real life when she opens it on Christmas Day! Silk and Merino scarf

I got a lovely black scarf with a unique look. The yarn, a mix of merino and silk, is so soft, it has the advantage of not being irritating. I can't normally wear woolen scarf as they tend to irritate my skin. The width of it means I can wear it as a scarf and as a shawl. Light and warm
