Winding Woven Wall Hanging

"Winding" is a woven tapestry is inspired by the spirals, curves and lines which occur naturally in the world around us.  The Fibonacci Sequence is fascinating and it's repeated presence in nature is mind blowing.  This weaving is the first of many representations of spirals and their mesmerizing qualities.

This woven wall hanging has been created using a variety of natural fibres, including silk ribbon, wool locks, wool, cotton and art yarn handspun by Aurore.  This piece has been embellished with gold coloured foil and beading.  The woven wall hanging is mounted on a frame with a long, flowing fringe.

This wall hanging will complement any colour palette, be it sitting peacefully amongst calming neutrals or standing in proud contrast against darker walls.  There's a certain playful whimsy about this weaving that will always bring a smile to your face.
